Two New COVID-19 Cases Monday in Grey Bruce

Public Health says that makes 108 cases to date, with two cases in hospital.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday in Grey Bruce.

They appear to be in Owen Sound and Hanover. That's the 51st case reported in Owen Sound and the first case reported in Hanover.

There have been 108 confirmed cases to date, nine of which are active.

 94 cases have recovered and five cases have been referred to other health units.

Two cases are currently hospitalized. No one has died locally from the virus.

Over the course of the pandemic, there have been 27 cases reported in Health Care Workers working in Grey Bruce.

One Long-term care facility, Elgin Abbey in Chesley has reported an outbreak. An outbreak is declared as soon as the first positive case is detected.
