Gravenhurst Mayor Paul Kelly has returned to Town hall following a period of self-isolation following a period of travel.

Kelly returned to work yesterday (Wed, March 25th) and got down to the business of catching up on a number of issues.

Kelly says staff at Townhall are practising social distancing and he thanked the community for acts of kindness he’s observing. (Above audio)

The other effort he's highlighted in his recent video message is the work the Caretagion group is doing helping citizens in need of groceries and other amenities being picked up.

Kelly says the group has over 40 volunteers now and the Mayor says thanks to the Rotary Club $5,000 has gone to the group to help out their efforts.

The Mayor also addressed the challenges front line Healthcare workers are facing.

Kelly says we should all show appreciation to medical health staff and first responders.
