Ontario's Premier says his government will not spare any expense in the fight against COVID-19.
In an address to the province this afternoon (Thursday), he talked about Ontario's Action Plan announced yesterday with 17 billion dollars in spending.
Doug Ford says an additional 3.3 billion dollars will be going to the frontlines to battle the pandemic.
There is 75 million dollars going to providing health care workers with Personal Protection Equipment.
There is also 341 million dollars for one thousand new acute care beds and 500 critical care beds.
Ford also says the government will make sure no one gets evicted. He says if you absolutely can't pay rent because you no longer have a job, then don't pay rent.
But he didn't say how rent would be covered.
