Headwaters Puts Call Out for Medical Supplies

Orangeville | by Jill Young

The hospital in Orangeville needs donations of unopened gloves, masks, gowns and vented goggles.

Headwaters Health Care needs some help from the community in this critical time.

The COVID-19 pandemic is putting significant strain on vital hospital resources including much-needed Personal Protective Equipment.

Without this much needed equipment, they can’t provide the care they need to.

They are calling on communities to donate any unused, unopened and unexpired protective equipment like gloves, ear loop masks, N95 masks, gowns and vented goggles to the hospital.

As of right now they cannot accept other related supplies, like hand-sewn masks.

President and CEO of Headwaters Kim Delahunt says “The outpouring of support from the community has been overwhelming and they have developed a process to help streamline the many offers they’ve had and hopefully will continue to have from local businesses.

Deliveries can be made to Headwaters’ shipping and receiving department at 100 Rolling Hills Drive Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3:30pm.
