Footprints Lead Police To Orillia Break and Enter Suspect

The suspect was also linked to another break and enter at a Nottawassaga Street Residence reported earlier in the night.

Footprints led right to him.

OPP have charged a suspect in connection to two Orillia break and enters.

Last night (Feb 13), police responded to a b & e that had just occurred at a John Street residence.

Police quickly followed footprints in the snow to another residence which led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Orillia man. 

The suspect was also linked to another break and enter at a Nottawassaga Street Residence reported earlier in the night.

The suspect is charged with:

Two counts of Break and Enter 
Mischief Under $5,000 
Theft Under $5,000 
Breach of Probation 
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime 
Failure to Comply with a Release Order 

The accused is being held in custody and will appear in Barrie court today.
