Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery in Oro-Medonte.
On December 28, 2019, shortly after midnight, police say a man walked into a gas station on Highway 11 and demanded cash and cigarettes.
After a brief verbal interaction, the employee complied and the man fled the area northbound on foot.
As a result of the investigation, police say a 31-year-old Orillia man was arrested yesterday on several charges including robbery, uttering theats, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Another person also surrendered to police and has been charged with posessesion of proprty obtained by crime and being an accessory after the fact.
Both of the accused have been released with a court date on February 4.
