The Township of Oro-Medonte has passed its 2020 budget.
Residents will now pay an additional $30.64 per $100,000 residential assessment.
The new budget includes continued investment for roads, bridges, parkland, recreation/leisure opportunities, customer service and buildings, as well as infrastructure renewal.
$4.8 million for roads and bridge construction, continued development for community parks and funding to modernize the Town's corporate computer software systems.
Mayor Harry Hughes says "planning for future infrastructure initiatives while maintaining fiscal responsibility was a significant focus during the preparation of the 2020 budget."
