Two Charged After Police Seize Fentanyl and Cocaine In Orillia

Both have been released from police custody and are set to appear in Orillia court February 11th.

Two men have been charged after cocaine and fentanyl were seized, following a joint investigation involving Orillia and Muskoka police.

On Thursday OPP executed a search warrant at a Mississaga Street West residence in Orillia.

Members of the Orillia OPP, Orillia, Bracebridge, Hunstville and City of Kawartha Lakes Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), Central Region Canine (K9) and Central Region Tactics and Response Unit (TRU) assisted in the execution of the search warrant.

As a result, police seized cocaine, fentanyl and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Police have arrested and charged 24 year old, Marlon Forest of Brampton with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Police also charged, 38 year old, Darren Walter of Orillia with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Both have been released from police custody and are set to appear in Orillia court February 11th.
