Headwaters Health Care Centre is getting some money for critical hospital upgrades.
The Ontario government announced $1.1-million dollars from the province has been earmarked for Orangeville's hospital.
The investment is helping 131 hospitals in Ontario through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The funds will be used to support several areas of significant need including roof replacements, elevator modernization, air distribution upgrades and various other facility improvements.
President & CEO, Headwaters Health Care Centre Kim Delahunt says Headwaters in Orangeville is aging, and this funding will address some of the more urgent concerns.
