Collingwood Toy And Food Drive Considered A Success

Auxiliary officers collected over 500 toys, 300 pounds of food and raised $1,597 through kettle donations for the Salvation Army.

The recent Christmas Toy and Food Drive in Collingwood is being considered a great success.

The items were collected by auxiliary officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at Walmart and Canadian Tire.

They collected over 500 toys, 300 pounds of food and raised $1,597 through kettle donations for the Salvation Army. 

The OPP Auxiliary officers would like to thank residents for their support to help make Christmas special for those in need in our community!
