Suspicious Driver was not a Threat in Saugeen Shores

Police will not lay charges against him as they say there is no risk to public safety.

 

Saugeen Shores Police say they've identified the suspect they were looking for in the Nov 2nd incident involving a white Chevrolet Silverado and two young girls.

Police say after investigation and an interview conducted by the Criminal Investigations/Drugs Unit, Police will not lay charges against him as they say there is no risk to public safety.

In November it was reported to police a man in a white pick-up asked two girls if they wanted candy. 

Saugeen Shores Police Release Suspicious Truck Photo

Saugeen Shores Police Service started an attempted abduction investigation.

 Evidence from video cameras in the town of Port Elgin and through Crime Stoppers Tips the suspect was identified.
