Wasaga Beach Traffic Stop Results in Two Arrests

Police say it also contained a large amount of stolen property, including mail and firearms from several areas across the province.

Two people have been arrested, following a traffic stop in Wasaga Beach.

Police stopped the vehicle on Saturday and say the investigation revealed it had been stolen.

Police say it also contained a large amount of stolen property, including mail and firearms from several areas across the province. 

A 31-year-old Scarborough man and a 32-year-old woman from Ste Sault Marie were taken into custody on several charges including: possession of property obtained by crime, mail theft and failing to comply with probation.

The accused will both appear in court today for bail hearing.
