Attack Fall In Saginaw

Perfetti scores twice.

The Owen Sound Attack mounted a third period rally, but came up short in Saginaw.

Cole Perfetti scored twice at the Spirit held on the beat the Attack 5-4 Thursday night in Ontario Hockey League action at the Dow Event Center.

The Attack (10-8-2-1) suffered their fourth straight loss and remain seventh in the West at 23 points, one ahead of Sarnia (11-10-0-0).

Mitchell Smith, Ethan Cardwell and Dalton Duhart also scored for Saginaw, which fell behind 1-0 early before reeling off five straight to take a 5-1 lead by the midway mark of the second period.

Aidan Dudas, Kaleb Pearson, Adam McMaster and Sergey Popov tallied for Owen Sound.

The Attack continue their road trip Saturday at Flint against the Firebirds.
