Brockton Man Arrested During Walkerton Business Break-in

The man was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools as well as resisting a peace officer

A 27 year old Brockton man was arrested early this morning (October 8) after police say he broke into a Walkerton-area business.

South Bruce OPP say just before 1 a.m. they received a report of a business alarm in the 1600 block of Bruce County Road 4.

Officers responded and say they found a male on the premises. 

Police say he ignored officer's verbal commands and was placed under arrest after a brief struggle.

The Brockton man was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools, resist a peace officer and failure to comply with recognizance of bail.

His bail hearing is scheduled for today.
