Barrie Woman Charged After Fake Money Used In Wasaga Beach

OPP say that on Monday (September 23), a counterfeit U.S. $50 bill was used at a local business.

Police have arrested a suspect after fake money was used at several Wasaga Beach businesses.

OPP say that on Monday (September 23), a counterfeit U.S. $50 bill was used at a local business.

Police say there were able to get a description of a suspect who they found on 47th Street South.

Further investigation found that phoney 50s with the same serial number were used at several other Wasaga Beach businesses.

A 30-year-old Barrie woman has been charged.
