The Town of Orangeville has announced it parted ways with the consultant hired to review the policing costs.
MPM Consulting was hired in July to complete a study of the analysis of policing services models and deliver that report to council.
Officials say there's been a different interpretation of requirements for the deliverables leading to amicable split.
The Town will now hire a new consultant with MPM Consulting agreeing to help with a successful transition.
Officials say the report should still be presented to council on time with the decision on policing made by December 10th.
