Arrest made in thefts from vehicles

Police say cheque books and credit cards were stolen.

A 29 year old  Wasaga Beach woman is facing 10 charges for a rash of thefts from vehicles in the area, in which credit cards and cheque books were stolen then allegedly used to buy prepaid Visa Cards.

OPP say their investigation began following a  report of a theft from a vehicle on Shore Lane.

Charges include four counts each of proceeds of property obtained by crime,  fraud under $5,000, and two each of possesion of property obtained by crime.
