Counterfeit $100 Bill Used In Owen Sound Area

Grey Bruce OPP are asking for the community's help in identifying a person of interest in a counterfeit money occurrence at a business at Highway 6 &10 on the Sunset Strip west of Owen Sound.  

Police say on Wednesday September 4th, two people went into a store and made a small purchase.

OPP say they used a $100 US bill to pay and received the change with exchange rate.

According to police, store employees later discovered the US bill was counterfeit.

OPP are looking for the identity of the person in the photo.
