A South Simcoe Police officer has been cleared of wrong doing in a crash in July 2108 that injured four people.
The officer had just broken off a pursuit of an S-U-V in a theft investigation.
The wanted vehicle collided with a pick up truck on County Road 88, east of the 400.
The pickup truck driver and three people in the SUV were taken to hospital. The special investigations unit concluded the officer did nothing wrong and charges are not warranted.
