OPP Won't Say If They Have Footage of Lake Joseph Boat Crash

Muskoka | by Matt Sitler

The Toronto Sun has reported that sources in Muskoka told them that OPP have video footage from at least one cottage in their possession....

OPP are keeping quiet about whether they have video footage of the crash that killed two people on Lake Joseph on August 24th.

The Toronto Sun has reported that sources in Muskoka told them that OPP have video footage from at least one cottage in their possession, but the case's lead investigator Inspector Martin Graham says OPP are unable to comment currently on whether they have any footage or not:

"We (OPP) are unable to respond to your question as the investigation is still ongoing and we are unable to speak to any parts of same until the investigation is completed," responded Graham to our query.  "At that time you can expect the OPP to advise the media on what, if any, charges were laid and to identify anyone charged. It is unknown how long the investigation will take to complete but I and the OPP are committed to completing a thorough investigation into what killed 2 people on Lake Joseph Saturday, August 24th."

In the meantime, Celebrity TV Star Kevin O'Leary, who's boat was involved in the crash, is said to have hired a high profile lawyer in the case.

More can be read about that here.
