Home sales in Grey Bruce are slightly down, and the average price has gone up.
The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce has released its stats from last month.
301 residential units were sold in May, down 9 per cent from last May.
The Realtors Association says that's actually not far off the 10-year average for that month.
So far, over the first five months of the year, 981 homes have been sold, that's down 12 per cent from the same time last year.
The average price of homes sold in May 2019 was $381,874, up 8.8 per cent from last May.
There were 493 new residential unit listings last month, which is down 10.5 per cent compared to last May.
Overall supply remains stuck at record lows. There were 926 active residential listings, up by just 15 listings or 1.6 per cent.
The long-term average for this area is over 2,000 listings for this time of the year.
The dollar value of all home sales in May was $114.9 million, down 1.3 per cent from last May.
