You have an opportunity to add your suggestions to what the Bluewater District School Board's multi-year strategic plan should look like..
An online survey will let you have your say.
Director of Education Alana Murray says trustees review the board's strategic plan annually to determine if they continue to be on the right track or if there are other areas that need to be addressed.
Murray says the board has a plan that right now, consists of four pillars, which includes ensuring the well-being of students and staff in a learning environment; providing quality instruction and learning experiences; encouraging parents to get involved; and being accountable for the responsible stewardship of resources.
She says the board will have a final survey approved on April 16th by trustees and on April 17th, the survey will be available on the board's website until May 13th.
Once the survey is completed, trustees will then review the results and decide if they want to maintain the current four priority areas or modify them.
The survey can be found at www.bwdsb.on.ca
Murray says printed copies of the survey will be made available upon request for those that need a hard copy.
