Bruce Power March Break Program Well Attended

Over 1,400 visitors attend activities

Bruce Power reports its annual March Break Program was a hit.

The off-site Visitor Centre welcomed over 1,400 people during the five-day program. The week featured robotics demonstrations, laser light shows and family movies among other activities.

Manager of Community Relations for Bruce Power Chris Mercanti praised the Visitors' Centre staff as well as the overwhelming response from the community.

The program also allowed for Bruce Power to showcase the benefits of nuclear energy. The record-setting turnout has set high hopes by Bruce Power for their summer bus tours. in 2018, the bus tours welcomed over 5,000 people, a number the visitor centre hopes to topple this year.
