Attack Get Beaten by Knights

Former Attacker Hancock with 2 assists for London.

It was a rough night on the road for the Owen Sound Attack.

They fell 6-3 to the Knights in London Friday night.

Owen Sound got on the board 2:21 into the first period on a goal by Maksim Sushko for a 1-0 lead.

The Knights (37-7-5-1) would string together four straight goals, two in the first (Connor McMichael and Adam Boqvist) and two more in the second period (Nathan Dunkley and Matvey Guskov) to take a 4-1 lead.

The Attack (25-23-2-2) chipped away at London's lead getting one from Carter Robertson 41 seconds into the third period and another by Cade Robinson at the 12:27 mark to make it 4-3 for the Knights.

Alec Regula and Alex Formenton (into an empty net) would score and seal the win for the Knights.

Boqvist finished with 3 points while former Attack forward Kevin Hancock collected 2 assists.

Joseph Raymakers stopped 25 shots for the Knights while Mack Guzda turned away 34 shots for the Attack who saw their two-game win streak snapped.

Power plays saw London go 2-for-5, Owen Sound were 0-for-3.

The Attack return home to host the Kingston Frontenacs at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre Saturday night for a 7:30 puck drop.
