The Attack scored three times on the power play to double the Otters and sweep the annual weekend doubleheader between the two Midwest Division teams at the the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community centre.

Kevin Hancock had 2 power play markers for the Attack who built a 4-0 lead before the Otters tried to rally late.

Carter Robertson with his first as a member of the Attack & Nick Suzuki on a power play had the other Owen Sound goals.

Suzuki had a 3 point game for Owen Sound and now has 264 career points for the Attack, the 3rd most points in franchise history ( Bobby Ryan 325 & Andrew Brunette 295 ).

Also of note, Suzuki has 16 career goals against the Otters which allows him to bypass Bobby Ryan for the most goals head-to-head against the Erie franchise.

Maksim Sushko had 3 assists for the Attack.

Netminder Mack Guzda posted the win. Guzda, who shutout the Otters for first 112 minutes of the weekend doubleheader, was nicked for 2 late goals by Petr Cajka.

With the win, Owen Sound moves into 4th place in the western Conference. 

The Attack will host Sarnia on Wednesday night at 7 pm at the JD McArthur Arena.

The 2 losses at Owen Sound drop the Otters to 9th place in the Western Conference.

Erie will host Kitchener on Wednesday night in another Midwest Division matchup.
