Terriers Look to Build on Win

Orillia | by Ken Hashizume

Orillia travels to Midland Friday; interview with GM Andrew McDonald.

The Orillia Terriers look to build on their season opening win.

The Terriers are coming off beating the defending PJHL Carruthers division champions the Stayner Siskins at Rotary Place last Saturday.

General Manager Andrew McDonald says the team did not take a lot of penalties in Saturday's game.

He says discipline leads to structure and it leads to winning hockey games.

McDonald says the players put a lot of effort into the upcoming season.

He says their fitness level came through in that game and were able to get to every puck.

The Terriers travel to Midland this Friday night to play the Flyers before returning home to face the Caledon Golden Hawks on Saturday.

McDonald says it will be a sure test for the team when they play in Midland.

He says the Flyers always puts a competitive team on the ice no matter where they are in the standings.
