Sweet Smelling Thief

No Old Spice for a suspect Barrie police allege made off with some pricey cologne.

Barrie police are looking for a sweet smelling bandit.

Police say a man was at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Essa Road on Monday afternoon where he put 2 colognes in his shopping basket, then asked the clerk about a third type.

He put that one in his basket and when the employee asked him to pay before leaving the counter,  he refused and said he had more shopping to do.

Police say when he felt too many eyes were watching him, he took off with the bottles worth $300.

He was last seen leaving in a black 2009 Chev Cobalt,  that had two bumper stickers-"it is what it is" and "you must be 18 to enjoy the ride."

Suspect Description: 

Male, white
20 to 25-years-old
5'6"-5'8" and 140 lbs with thin build
Fair complexion
Brown full beard
Wearing a green hat and gray shirt

Suspect Vehicle:

2009 Chevrolet Cobalt
Ontario licence plate CBSD 348
2 bumper stickers "it is what it is" and "you must be 18 to enjoy the ride"
