Daylon Groulx and rookie Griffin Wilson both scored twice for Owen Sound while overage Chase Campbell and Jackson Doherty added singles in the victory.

Winger Cade Robinson picked up three assists for the Attack who will play a home & home with North Bay to conclude the pre-season september 15th & 16th.

Owen Sound outshot Barrie 33-26 as goaltenders Andrew MacLean and Mack Guzda shared the goaltending.

Ryan Suzuki, the younger brother of Attack star Nick Suzuki, scored twice for Barrie.

Jason Willms and Nathan Allensen had the other Barrie markers. 

The Attack are 2 & 0 in the pre-season while Barrie is 1 & 1.

Michael Little and Sam Meisenheimer both scored twice for the Steelheads

Rookie forward Michael Stubbs also scored in the victory while goaltender Matthew Dunsmoor made 16 saves in his hometown. 

Rookie defenceman Luka Profaca and Russian winger Alexey Toropchenko both scored for Guelph

The Steelheads and Storm are both 1 & 1 in exhibition play.

 


67's 3 Frontenacs 2 ( Shootout )

After 26 years, OHL hockey made its return to Cornwall as the 67’s shaded the Frontenacs

Elora native Mitchell Hoelscher scored in the 7th round of the shootout to give Ottawa the win. 

Ottawa goaltender Cedrick Andree stopped all 7 shooters he faced

Ottawa rookies Cameron Tolnai and Marco Rossi scored in regulation while Kingston goals came from Ryan Cranford and Brett Neumann.
