Owen Sound Grey Motors United 2 Listowel United 1 


Jeff Ruttan and Ian Campbell staked Owen Sound to a 2-0 lead.


Joe Neves scored late for Listowel.  


United is 2 & 4  on the season.  


Friday at home, Owen Sound was blanked 4-0 by Stratford.


Grey Motors United will meet the Supersonics Sunday in Kitchener.





Ontario Senior Lacrosse

The Brooklin Merchants tied the Owen Sound NorthStars 7-7


Ryan Degerdon scored the game tying goal for Brooklin while Nick Chaykowski, a former draft pick of the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League, had 3 goals for the Merchants.


Colin Mawdsley (3) & Patrick Saunders (2) combined for 5 goals for the NorthStars who are tied in points with Brooklin for 3rd in the standings.


Brooklin has 2 games remaining; Saturday at home to Six Nations and then Sunday back in Owen Sound.

The Owen Sound-Shallow Lake Selects finished third at the tournament and earned the right to advance to the National Championships at Stouffville beginning August 8th.


The OASA Midget Provincials are July 28 & 29 at Duncan McLellan Park, Owen Sound
