$30,000 is up for grabs in this ''Dragon's Den'' style competition.

The 2nd annual Hawk's Nest competition will be taking place on Wednesday, June 13th.

Hawk's Nest is a ''Dragon's Den'' inspired competition where new and existing businesses and entrepreneurs from Grey, Bruce, Wellington North, Minto and the City of Owen Sound will pitch their business ideas in an attempt to secure financial support from local angel investors coined the ''Hawks.''

Project Coordinator Darlene Boisvenue says that this year, competitors will try to win a possible $30,000, plus investment in their business.

At the event, 7 entrepreneurs will pitch their business ideas to the Hawks in front of a live audience of up to 400 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, on Highway 9, between Walkerton and Mildmay.
