Western Conference Quarterfinals

Kitchener Rangers 5 Guelph Storm 2
( Kitchener wins the series 4-2 & now meets Sarnia in the 2nd round )


Sarnia Sting 5 Windsor Spitfires 2
( Sarnia wins the series 4-2 & now meets Kitchener in Round 2 )


Eastern Conference Quarterfinal

Barrie Colts 8 Mississauga Steelheads 2
( Barrie wins the best of 7; 4-2 & now meets Kingston in the 2nd round )

 

 

Rangers 5 Storm 2

Logan Brown, Kole Sherwood and Givani Smith led the Rangers who punched their ticket to the second round of the OHL Playoffs.

Tied 1-1 after 1 period, Kitchener got goals from Smith, Brown and Riley Damiani to pull away.

Ryan Merkley and Isaac Ratcliffe scored for Guelph who were eliminated in 6 games

Kitchener advances to face the Sarnia Sting in the second round.

 

 


Sting 5 Spitfires 2

The Sting grabbed a 3-0 lead on goals by Ryan McGregor, Franco Sproviero and Jonathan Ang and were never caught.

William Sirman  and Zach Shankar scored to pull Windsor within one but Jordan Ernst sealed the victory before Hugo Leufvenius finished the affair for Sarnia.

Sarnia advances to take on the Kitchener Rangers in the second round.

 


Colts 8 Steelheads 2

Mississauga led 2-0 before the Colts exploded with 8 straight goals.

Andrei Svechnikov led Barrie with 2 goals and 5 points.

Dmitry Sokolov and Zach Magwood also scored twice for the Colts while Aaron Luchuk and Luke Bignell added singles.

Michael McLeod and Cole Carter scored for the Steelheads who led the series 2-1 before losing 3 straight games.

Barrie advances to meet Kingston in Round 2
