The third annual Hindu Culture Open House will be taking place in Kincardine on August 17th.
Hosted by the Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre, the event will be at Victoria Park from 2:30 until 6 pm.
This year’s events include a parade around Victoria Park, yoga and meditation, food, music and dancing, interactive exhibits, and cultural customs and traditions such as trying on clothing, henna, and friendship bands.
Kincardine Multicultural Celebrations founding member Chandra Tripathi says that the purpose of the open house is to be a platform to foster understanding, promote cultural exchange, and build bridges of friendship in the community.
