South Bruce OPP are asking for assistance in locating the driver involved in a fail to remain collision last month in Chesley.
Police say on Feb. 8 at 6:05 p.m., officers received a report of a two-vehicle collision along 1st Avenue south in the Town of Chesley. When officers arrived on the scene, they found one of the involved vehicles at the scene.
Police say five minutes before they received the call, a black SUV was travelling south along 1st Avenue south when a dark coloured south bound vehicle quickly passed by. While attempting to pass, the side view mirror was damaged, costing over $1,400.
OPP say officers would like to speak with the other driver to complete their collision report.
The vehicle in question is believed to be dark in colour and have damage to its passenger side, as well as side view mirror.
Police say they would be interested in viewing any video, including dash cam video of the area between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8.
