$28,000 worth of illegal contraband has been seized at Beaver Creek Institution in Gravenhurst.
Prison officials recovered the items between April 5th and 6th.
Officials say several packages containing tobacco and cell phones were discovered on the perimeter of the prison property.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is heightening measures to prevent contraband from entering its institutions.
