Community grant applications are now being accepted in Muskoka Lakes.
The available grants provide funding to non-profit, community-based organizations that provide direct programs, services, activities, events or festivals not already provided by the Township.
Municipal grants demonstrate Council’s commitment to working with groups that provide these beneficial programs, services, events or projects to the community.
As pandemic safety guidelines are expected to continue well into 2021, the program will focus on supporting initiatives that can operate in accordance with them.
Such initiatives may include innovative and/or adaptive solutions to online platforms, digital services, etc. In addition, programs that meet identified community needs resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic will also be considered.
Applications can be submitted up to 4 pm on May 12th to be considered for potential funding.
