Georgian Bluffs is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Amalgamation of Keppel, Sarawak, and Derby Townships with a Community Barbecue and Movie Night on June 6, 2026, at Shallow Lake Arena.
Starting at 6 p.m., the Hepworth Home and School Association will be onsite accepting pay-what-you-can donations for their mission to install a playground at the Hepworth Community School. Donations are encouraged, but food will be available for free.
You are also encouraged to dig up your favourite photos taken around Georgian Bluffs and submit them for the community photo slideshow. Whether it’s old baseball teams, or family farms, all photos will be considered for the nostalgic photo series.
The night will end with an outdoor movie night, which will be a family-friendly film released the same year Georgian Bluffs was formed in 2001.
