Huronia West OPP charged four drivers with impaired driving and other offences in the span of two days.
A public tip led to the arrest of a 42 year old Wasaga Beach man this past Friday.
On Sunday around 2am an 18 year old Wasaga Beach female was charged impaired, using another person’s licence, being an impaired novice driver, being underage and having liquor readily available.
That same day around 5:30pm a 47 year old Elmvale man was charged after a single vehicle crash in Springwater Township…and later that night a 33 year old Tottenham man was charged after a traffic complaint was made in Wasaga Beach.
OPP say Drivers who are impaired by drugs and/or alcohol continue to pose a significant threat on our roads, and are reminding the public that if an impaired driver is suspected, citizens should call 9-1-1 because in doing so, a life may be saved.
