The Chatsworth Agricultural Society is ready to celebrate the festive season.
Christmas in the Village will be happening on December 19-20, and will be taking place at the new pavilion.
Chatsworth Agricultural Society President Joanne Anderson shared all of the events that will be taking place over the weekend event.
“We are going to enjoy our new pavilion by having a live Nativity, and carolling, and trim-the-tree on Friday night,” she said.
The Friday night events will also include dinner by donation, with chili and hot dogs on the menu, as well as hot chocolate.
On Saturday, Santa will make an appearance as the ag society will be holding their Christmas parade.
The parade starts at 10:30 in the parking lot near the Legion.
“Santa will be there at the Legion,” Anderson said. “You’ll [also] get a hot chocolate and cookie from Kettles.”
The big man in red will also have time to greet all of the children who attend, while the post office will be collecting letters to Santa.
During the parade, there will be volunteers collecting donations for Community Outreach.
Friday’s events will take place from 4-7 pm, while Saturday’s festivities will take place from 10:30 am – 1 pm.
