South Bruce OPP are investigating a report of a suspicious person last week in Kincardine.
They have learned an elementary school aged child was walking to school on Mackendrick Drive at about 9:05 a.m. on April 14th, (a week ago Thursday) when the child noticed a full-size pickup truck drove past her several times.
At one point the male driver exited the pickup truck across the street from the child. The child kept her distance, picked up her pace and continued on to school. The driver got back into his vehicle and drove away heading westbound on Russell Street.
There was no conversation or contact between them.
OPP say The suspicious vehicle is described as a black, newer model, full size pickup truck with a tonneau cover.
The driver was described as a man between 30 and 40 years old, at least 5 foot 11 was wearing a black surgical face mask, a black hoodie and blue jeans.
Officers would like to speak with the driver of this vehicle. Anyone with helpful information is asked to contact South Bruce OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122.
