Grey Bruce OPP say multiple charges have been laid following an altercation in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
OPP say on March 27 around 2:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance.
Police arrived on the scene and placed an individual under arrest.
Police say they have charged a 24-year-old male from South Bruce Peninsula with assault, three counts of assaulting a peace officer, and resisting arrest.
Police say the accused was released and will appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
OPP say victims of domestic violence are not alone and if you or someone you know is in need of support, there are local resources available.
OPP did not provide the name of the accused.
