Santa Clause is coming to town and he is making a stop at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
As part of one of the many holiday events, Santa Visits will be returning for children who want to share their wishes with the man in red.
Santa will be making his appearance on Dec. 4, 11, 17, and 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., if you are not able to make it in person, however, Santa will be on his computer answering emails.
Any child who sends Santa an email at santa@brucecounty.on.ca will receive a response from Santa and Mrs. Clause by Dec. 20.
Other fun holiday events occurring in at the museum include Merry Munchkins on Dec. 9. Children will be able to shop at Bevan’s General Store at the museum, and create and decorate meal kits, which will be donated to the area food bank. Preregistration is needed as space is limited.
Then on Dec. 16 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., a new holiday tradition will give families the chance to have their own Hallmark moment, with the first light up of the Museum’s historic pioneer buildings. Attendees will be able to enjoy activities and beverages, as the museum’s professional photographer will be there to take pictures of family moments.
Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson says, “staff at the museum have really packed a fun-filled holiday program for your family to enjoy.”
More details about the holiday fun at the museum can be found on their website.
