Pickett Picked
Jonathan Pickett, a graduate of Peninsula Shores District School at Wiarton, has been selected by Volleyball Canada to compete at the World Under 21 Championships in Bulgaria.
The Canadian entry which is currently training in Slovenia will begin play at the Championships on September 23rd.
Canada will be in a pool with Cameroon, Brazil & Russia.

Canada’s men’s team for the 21st edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship is training in Maribor, Slovenia, from September 13 to 21 before competing in Sofia, Bulgaria, from Sept. 23 to Oct 3. Canada will be in Pool D with Russia, Brazil and Cameroon.
The age-group World Championship tournament will be held in Italy and Bulgaria from 23 September to 3 October 2021.
