Almaguin Highlands OPP has charged a 35-year-old Laurier Township resident with assault and mischief charges.
July 12th police were called to a traffic complaint after the accused drove onto a resident’s property, damaging the driveway.
Then this past Wednesday at 11 am, police were called to another incident involving the same man.
They tried to arrest him but he fled in a truck, damaging several vehicles including a police vehicle.
He was arrested Thursday and now faces assault with a weapon, mischief, uttering threats, and dangerous operation charges amongst others.
He’s being held for a bail hearing Tuesday in Parry Sound.
