Police in Bracebridge responded to a demonstration that happened at 4 pm today in front of MPP Norm Miller’s office on Manitoba Street.
OPP say their officers had received a complaint about the event and attended.
They then educated those present on the current restrictions and say that the crowd peacefully dispersed and no charges were laid.
The OPP asks that members of the public voluntarily comply with the new emergency orders and do their part to support the Government of Ontario’s health emergency declaration to limit transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
