Five new Covid cases and one recovery were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit on Friday.
According to Public Health, three people from Saugeen Shores, as well as residents of Chatsworth and South Bruce Peninsula tested positive.
The active known case load in the region increased to 12, as new infections outpaced recoveries. No one is currently hospitalized.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any retirement homes, schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce. Brucelea Haven long-term care home in Walkerton is in outbreak status.
On vaccination progress: 9,857 doses have been administered in the region to date.
Two deaths have been attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce since the start of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
