Two people face multiple drug and weapon charges after over $33,000 worth of cocaine was seized at a residence in Bracebridge.
Throughout April, police investigated a case that resulted in arrests and searches on Wednesday.
Wednesday morning, the OPP TRU team arrested two people in the Tim Horton’s parking lot on Depot Drive where a vehicle’s window was smashed.
Soon after, police executed a search warrant at a local residence.
Police seized the following items yesterday:
- Cocaine with a street value of up to $33,000
- Over $30,000 in Canadian Currency
- Oxycodone pills (varying forms) with a street value of up to approximately $31,900
- Fentanyl patches with a street value of up to $12,000
- A loaded 9 mm restricted hand gun
- An imitation firearm
- A cross-bow
- Two prohibited knives
- Ammunition
- An ATV which was reported stolen the week of April 20, 2020
The following people have been charged:
45 year old James Labelle of Bracebridge faces possession for the purpose of trafficking charges relating to cocaine, oxycodone and oxycontin, possession of a loaded and restricted firearm, possession of an imitation weapon, possession of property obtained by crime, careless storage of ammunition and possession of ammunition while prohibited.

32 year old Nicole Labelle, also of Bracebridge, faces charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine, Oxycontin and Oxycodone, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm and a weapon, careless storage of a firearm and ammunition, possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Both suspects have been held for a bail hearing via video at a Barrie court today.
