Road Conditions for October 5, 2015

There are alternate lane closures on Highway 26 between Craigleith and Collingwood due to construction -- there is also construction on Highway 26 in west Thornbury.

Highway 6 northbound lane reduction at Rocky Saugeen River Bridge until October 31st. Traffic control in place.

Wellington Road 109 (Elora Street South) in Harriston will be closed from Highway 89 (Arthur Street) south to Mill Street. Later in the summer, the closure will extend to Young Street on a date to be confirmed.

There will be alternating lane closures on Highway 21 from the Sauble River to Bruce Road 14 for construction.

There is one lane closure on Highway 21 from Joshua Crescent to Craig Street at Saugeen First Nation for construction.


-  6th Avenue West is closed between Alpha Street and 12th Street West for watermain and sewer replacement until the end of October.

- 3rd Avenue East (Grey Road 15) is fully closed north and southbound between East Bayshore Road and 18th Street East.

So the East Bayshore bus will detour south at 27th Street East, back along the normal route to the bottom of St. Mary's hill and then north to the north end of the Bayshore Arena north parking lot. From there it will return on its normal route back to the Transit Terminal.

- 8th Street East will be closed to through traffic between 4th Avenue East and 8th Avenue East into November.

The pedestrian detour will continue to be in effect with crossing guards posted at the intersection of 8th Street East and 8th Avenue East as well as the intersection of 7th Street ‘A’ East and 8th Avenue East.
