- The PWSA Intermediate Tier II Ladies tournament at Duncan McLellan Park

- Canadian Under 23 Championship at St Leonard-d'Aston, Quebec

- Canadian Under 16 Championship at Innerkip

- schedule released for the Softball Canada Under 19 Championship at Napanee

- Chepstow Aces 50th anniversary celebration during Homecoming

- a few Bluewater & Owen Sound Men's League games scattered here & there

+ the Grey Bruce Ladies Fastball Playdowns opened and eliminated 3 teams.

Two more teams in the Grey Bruce Ladies League will be eliminated tonight at Desboro.

At 7 pm the Keady Snatchers meet the regular season champion Bad News Bears and then at 8:30 Tara goes against the Desboro Royals.

The two losing teams tonight are out, and the two winning teams advance to meet each other in another elimination game on Thursday night in Allenford.

The Grey Bruce Ladies League Playoff is an ongoing double knockout tournament format and the 2 undefeated teams; the Allenford Gators and Port Elgin Diamond Devils will meet Thursday night also in Allenford to determine which team advances directly to the League Championship Game August 16th...also in Allenford.

There's Bluewater action tonight; Tara merchants at Owen Sound selects + Elmwood Smok at Durham Dodgers.

Meanwhile, the Owen Sound Men's Fastball League Playoffs commence tomorrow night at Duncan McLellan Park;

Shallow Lake Sting vs Tara Titans

Chatsworth Yellow Jackets vs Ram Promotional 

Keady Jets vs Williamsford Woodsmen  

& Harold Sutherland Construction vs Allenford Astros.
