If you want to keep the kids fit and active over the coming months, you should drop by the Hanover Spring and Summer Registration event.
It takes place this evening from 7 until 8:30pm.
Whether is sports, music, dance, martial arts or clubs, Program Development Coordinator Laura Web says tonight’s registration offers one stop shopping for all your recreational needs.
Webb encourages parents and youth to come out and discover the opportunities available.
With close to 20 organizations and clubs on hand, Webb says there really is something for everyone.
This includes: Air Cadets, gymnastics, the Lifesaving Fundamentals Club, Hanover Minor Baseball, Hanover Minor Soccer, the Saugeen Triathlon Club, St. John Ambulance, the Youth Activity and Technology Centre -Launch Pad, and the Youth Literacy Council.
Webb says tonight is all about providing the public with an opportunity to explore what recreational opportunities are available within the community without having to track the organizations down individually.
Best of all, Webb says the various sports, recreation and club options provide youth with a chance to remain fit and active over the coming Spring and Summer months.
Tonight is not limited to Hanover residents, everyone is welcomed.
And if you are from the Brockton area, there will be a Brockton Spring Registration Night on Thursday March 8th, at the Walkerton arena from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Webb encourages parents to take advantage of the recreational opportunities available, calling it a great way to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among youth.
