Hanover Urges Employers To Fill Out Survey.

Hanover | by Robyn Garvey

Feedback is wanted on any skills shortage in the area.

Hanover is asking all employers to participate in the Employer One Survey that can be found on the Town's website.

The survey is designed to give employers a voice concerning their needs  when it comes to the workforce.

Economic Development Manager April Marshall says survey will help better identify and understand the skills shortages and need of local employers.

The survey is a Four County Labour Market Board initiative, the information collected will be shared with Hanover as well as the County.

Marshall says the survey data will serve as a valuable resource as the Town, the County and Labour Market Board work together to come up with strategies to assist employers as they tackle the challenges of the changing  economy.

This includes using the information to develop economic development   initiatives to assist employers with their workforce challenges.

Marshall strongly encourages employers to take a few minutes to fill out the survey online.

The survey can be accessed at www.hanover.ca or by going directly to the following link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FCLMPB2018 .
